Help with Heat in Engine! HELP !

man, i have no idea, i'm just reciting what i read.

i got the wrap anyway, so i guess i might as well wrap it and then silicone spray it.

I think the sentiment here is "our cars are slow, 1-3 hp wont help, so leave you header blinging and dont wrap it" but if youre hardcore about squeezing every last bit of power. youre best bet is to get it ceramic coated by swaintech. youll probably be paying more for the coat than you payed for the header, its probably like polishing a turd, but its up to you.

one more thing, coating you header not only keeps under hood temps down, keeps the air sucked up by your itnake cooler, but prevents the heat from dissapating and retains the heat within teh header, which allows it to scavenge better, speeding up the exhaust flow.....theoretically...but then again its teh F23 we're talking about...so yeah....its hopeless.

Personally, I wouldn't wrap it unless you're serious about power.
If heat is really bothering you, just convert to a CAI. Besides, it's less work and more reliable to go to a CAI than wrap the header
