heres how my afternoon went...

it does look like spray paint, but i can tell that the clear is coming off. theres green on the the tail lights and stuff, but the car is turning white. might be time for some rattle can action. lol, no. i have to decide if i want to respray it myself, or let it go since im trying to sell the car.

damn man that sucks. that really sucks actually. hopefully the dealership will own up to their ****ups

well, still no call back from the dealership. the closer i look at the trunk, the more it looks like paint. the more i look at the sides, i have no idea whats going on with it. i think im going to try either some cleaner wax or a clay bar with meguiars quik mist and see what that does.

why dont you just wet sand it withh 1000 grit and then buff it??

ive tried a clay bar and waxing it, and the wax took off most of the overspray. but, where the main "stream" was on the trunk, its still really visible. i should go find some 1000 grit and try that this week. the bar and wax didnt totally work, so what more do i have to lose? if that doesnt work, i might just repaint that area on the trunk. thanks for the suggestion

^^ no man, i didnt take it like that at all. i didnt actually post that i had done these steps before, sooo...i was the only one who knew no hard feelings, and ive gotta remember to not forget to not remember to go to the hardware store
