I went to this new carshop in Alhambra CA...LA county....

its called The Carshop..

So wtf on yelp.com someone had nice things to say about the HID setup and all that ish..some other fools on yahoo.com reviews said same thing...so I thought why not, I just got my car and wanted my HIDs on..

Im at my friends house getting my car detailed and whatnot and i just saw some silver thing hanging underneath my car..turns out to be the fkn ballasts hanging under my car!!!! its kinda scraped from the road and sht...

anyways just wondering where did you guys put your ballasts? and these fools i think they gave me the cheap ish, first of all..im pretty laid back and take ppl for their word tooo easily..so i trusted this place, kinda..they didnt let me in the back while installing, i regret not asking the brand and whatnot, but now i noticed that its not the type where you connect it to the battery either..its just some sht to the bulbs, this little black box looking crap, and the ballast..

help please..greatly appreciated for everyones help so far...

What do you mean connected to the battery, like a relay harness? those cheap hid's dont come with that, u either have to make one or order one. I had to order a relay harness for mine. To hold my lights in place I drilled necessary holes where I wanted to put them. The brackets hold my hid ballasts with some 3M adhesive tape for extra protection.

I have always had mine mounted with a bracket and 3m adhesive tape.

McCulloch's dont come with a relay harness and those are a couple hundred bucks. The "same box" thing is an igniter box. I never used a relay harness and I've never had a problem.

How come you didn't do it yourself? Its pretty simple and if you ran into some problems, I'm sure the guys on the forum could've helped you out.

The price doing it my self vs buying one made was only a several dollars. I am lazy too, I don't wanna do more work than I have to lol. I bought a relay harness so my lights are ignited at the same time. Sometimes only one would come on and I would have to turn them off and on too many times.
