HIDS 6k or 8k?

ok so i installed my 6k 35w ddm hids today and wen i flip the switch my hids just flicker on for a few seconds then shut off. whats the problem here? maybe i need a relay harness, but i see alot of pple without it. i followed the ddm tuning installation guide fully. maybe its the corrosion on my battery?

Make sure to plug In the connections really tight. I had a similar problem like that a while back. And clean the corrosion off your battery

Wrong. 6k actually produces more lumen compared to 8k. 4300k is the IDEAL and the brightest output which is why OEM uses them. Whiter light is not always better. The whiter/bluer the light the more reflective it becomes hence why proper "fog lamps" are yellow. What you are saying is he might as well grab 20k HID's since in your opinion the higher the kelvin the better the visibility.

yeah, I'm so much more happy with 5000k than I ever was with 6k, 8k, and even...10k at one point.

if they came on and just flickered then shut off yes i would get the harness. has your car had any electrical issues in the past? how old is your alt and batt?
