Dam 3rd? I was wondering cause mine is slipping would a "jdm" tranny work better? It's only 300 bucks

Couldn't tell you. The only things you can do to ensure that the next one lasts you a long time is to get a trans filter put in, a trans cooler put in, and that you do your 3x D&R every 15k - 20k miles.

I have done 230k miles, stock, pulled a trailer, autox, D&F when fluids funny.

I haven't done a D&F since I had my trans redone last time. That was at least two years ago. I know I need to do it, but I'm not working (looking for work ATM), so it's not like I can do it right now. And before, money was always tight...still is of course. :lolrun:
