If you are not the original owner of the car, the above link will not work. I have the serial number but i dont have the original zip code, phone number or email used when the vehicle was purchased. I put in my info and it didnt work.

The guy at the dealership told me I had to take the radio out and remove it from the sleeve and the code would be on the bottom. There was no code. Anywhere. No sticker in/on the glovebox, under the hood, on the trunk, in the trunk. Nowhere.

It has to be a 5-digit code and none of the number i found are 5-digit. Ill call Honda, again, tomorrow and see what they can do for me.

I don't know about you guys, but the Honda dealer gave me mine free. I took it in, the guy did the 1 and 6 button thing that gave those 8 digits, he looked on their computer and gave me the code on a price of scrap paper. Canadian generosity at it's finest :Canada: that's on the 2002 SE cd/cassette radio

The number it gives you, when you do the 1+6 button things, is what you need. Thats the serial number. Call a dealership and ask them for the code. If they try to charge you, call back later and say you're from another local dealership. Try to pretend to be funny and what-not, like it's no biggie.

Anyway, got mine today.

if i'm reading this right, if you press buttons 1 & 6 simultaneously it will give you the serial code? From there you can call/go to the dealership with the VIN and serial code and they'll give you the radio code for your OEM HU?

You might not even need the VIN. I didnt anyway.

The above website requires the original info so, no, it wont work.
