Ok so I have a good amp but no way to hook up the sub? I'm just gonna look for a powered sub. Thanks all!

I really enjoy my Definitive Tech Subwoofer. You can pick up a SuperCube on Craigslist for pretty cheap quite often.

No. What was posted looks to be a passive crossover, not the best idea. You're on the right track getting a powered sub

You can use the crossover to power to the sub, and your to front speakers. Its not the greatist but its the cheapest option you have.

I see what he's saying about the crossover, but keep in mind it'll be cutting power output in half.

I get complaints ALL THE TIME for my setup LMAO. Each tower has a 300 Watt powered 8" Subwoofer with two passive 8" radiators. Then a seperate 300 Watt 8" powered sub with a 8" passive radiator. 900 Watts of powered sub :skurred:
