Very true, it also depends on what you're going to use as fronts.

You have a nice vintage amp, Sony ES are very good products. If you're a diligent Cl searcher, you can get your hands on some very nice equipment for very low cost. Do it up right man.

I'm also jealous of that amplifier, I only have an old Onkyo TX-DS656 running a set of Wharfedales in my man cave. Oh the trouble that would ensue if I had an amp like yours!!

Could I be so bold as to recommend reading some reviews on speakers / subwoofers before you make your new Sub purchase?
(would be a shame to ruin that amps abilities with cheap'n'nasty speakers)

So I'm deciding to sell the amp...I'm fine with how my system is without it and I'm just gonna use the money to buy a powered sub. How much do you think it'll sell for? Its like new. No scratches,no dust, clean. I looked it up and people on audio forums was selling for $550 and $800.

theres always ebay. otherwise, youd have to join an audio forum and do the whole post thing and people would be skeptical etc.

so...CL or ebay.
