Heat it up the piece(s) with a hairdryer, or something alike so it's somewhat flexible.

Place it on bare metal, and work it into the grooves, and such by using a roller of this style.

I've heard negative feedback about the foam. I know first hand that Dynamat and Brown Bread are both quality products. I bought Dynamat on Ebay a few years ago and paid 60% of what a local stereo shop wanted for the same amount.

Like Crono said, just heat it up and roll it on. It's really easy.

That roller will help you so much. I used something that was actually harder to install than dynomat that i got a Home Despot for alot cheaper, doesn't work as well. I use a small paint roller, a bit of a pain, i'm cheap, but it will help alot.

I wouldn't use the foam as your only deadener. If you go foam, put it over on top of mat deadener.

I didn't use a roller when I put mine on but I guess maybe ED's stuff is easier to work with. I had no problem working it into where it needed to be with my hands.

I've done it without a roller but the quarterpannels would have been very hard for me to do without one. I would image the coupes are fairly different than sedans but it has a pannel that overlaps that makes it a pain. Goes pretty deep too.

I did the foam in my trunk. Plus what i did was sprayed the rubber undercoating that they put under the car to prevent road noise as well. It came out pretty good plus i had to add my little twist to things so i added some honda badges on the inside of the trunk as well......i'll take a pic and post it up here so you can see how it came out. Wasnt that bad IMO.....and it stopped all of my rattling.....except for the stupid liscense plate!!!!

Use RAAMmat and you barely even need to clean the surface with alcohol. No heating required and I didn't even use a roller. It comes out beautifully. Visit RAAMaudio.com Rick is a badass.
