I just bought a 98 coupe v6 with 174k miles, and the car has been poorly kept. I want to seafoam the car to clean the engine and improve my mpg.
Yes, I have used seafoam on other cars before.
Yes, I know how to use it through PVC or brake booster vacumn line.
But I realize both PVC and brake booster vacumn lines are located at rear side of intake manifold so only rear cylinders are going to get seafoam.
I have searched and read every single post about seafoam and even googled it, but none of them talks about how front cylinders can get enough seafoam.
I want to clean both side of my engine as I am getting pretty bad mpg (all tune-up items will follow afterward).
Does anyone have any tips to offer?
Any tips will be appreciated.

Just to add on once you have sucked in the amount of seafoam you want how long do you keep it running before you turn it off to let the seafoam do its work. Thanks guys for your information and your help!!!

The PCV valve will circulate it through both cylinder banks. Just follow the instructions on much to use etc.. and you'll be fine. DO NOT put it in your oil filler.

im pretty sure seafoam is for cleaning out the combustion chamber...parts of the head...etc...by putting it in the oil filler...you are just contaminating your oil...and messing up the lubrication of your engine....

I would never use Seafoam unless changing the oil and filter immediately after, so I don't see the issue.
