are there any other products out there that do the job just like the same way or is this the only product.... cuz it seems like the price for Seafoam has gone up... i just got it at wallmart for 9 bucks and i remember it used to be 6 or 7 or so...
where do u guys seafoam your cars, cuz i was too scared to do it on my driveway since i know neighbors will complain and ask questions and what not.
i seafoamed my car today i drove down a canyon road near my area so that no one was around me and then a cop drove up to me and asked if everythings ok since ihad my hood up and thank gawd i didnt rev out the smoke yet haha
then, as soon as i started to rev up my engine, my neighbor pulls up and yells out, "your car is on fire!!" and then she starts doing as she realized it wasn't and just didn't want to be around the smoke.
im seeing a lot of mixed opinions, i got 185k on my engine, oil changed every 3k miles+/- 500 miles
idel runs a lil low for my liking but never anything to drastic, had a mech look at it(brother) said its super quite and runs smooth for 185k, surprised him,
wanna maintain good life of engine, no seafoam used in this car b4
Your engine is already almost 200k, you should just leave it alone. Dont add anything to the oil, you may run seafoam through the intake manifold, but id rather u just do it right and take the throttle body off and clean it manually.
You could probably get another 100k if u just do what ur doing.
