It will usually come on after a few minutes...
all the indicator lights flash in some pattern. the highest I was able to count was 12 steady flashes, but then it usually turns off. most of the time it will flash a few times and then just quit. I don't know if the number of times it flashes is supposed to indicate something.
after a few minutes though, it will usually start to work, although it's becoming more intermittent.
I did recharge the AC last summer, and when it works, it feels like its fine.
