Ha, Ryan, you post film scans and the same day I posted mine, and now you posted dog pictures as I am about to post mine :lawl:

I did this shoot for my girlfriend's family because their dog, Molly, is old and her health is failing. They wanted some pictures for memories, so I took a stab at it. I strongly encourage serious critique, as these pictures carry more significance than most of my other shots.

These are amazing!

1, 3, 5: Can you edit these to bring more light to their eyes? They look like the dog is demonized since the eyes look nearly gone/already dead. Also, maybe bump up the color temp a tad to add a little life to the pics.

Yea, the first one I totally desaturated, but on #3 and #5 I didnt touch the eyes. I did a little bit of desaturation on 2 and 4 to keep the eyes from being as yellow as they were, and I might do that to the rest.

be like it is
isnt it "emulation is the sincerest form of flattery"? or something like that :lawl:

i would say 2 and 4 are the best, just because the dog isn't laying down. it kind of gives a more "lively" slant you know?

btw...my neighbor has like 3 of those...veryyyy annoying when they bark
