Definitely sounds like ignition switch to me. When mine was at its worst it started off flashing all the RED lights on my dash, then they stopped and my cruise stopped working, then radio. Then I exited the highway I was on when this was happening, pulled into a parking lot, checked everything out and it was visually OK, so I tried to start up the car, took a few times finally started, put it in drive pressed the gas and the car would BARELY go. Then all of a sudden it would kick in and was fine. About 10 more miles down the road it quit at a stop light and didn't come back. Jumped it and drove to a autozone to check out the codes it was throwing and they were all crazy random codes so I had a friend come pick up the car the next morning to take to honda. Honda checked alternator which was fine, then checked ignition switch and saw that it was fried.

Sorry for the garbled paragraph but that was my experience and sounds a lot like yours. If the recall hasn't been done I'd take it into Honda and have them take care of it asap! Don't get stranded like I did!! If the recall has been done they may or may not do it free, mine wouldn't so they charged us, but had I known the problem I would have done it myself.

It could cause something like that, I don't doubt it. Ignition switches aren't hard to replace.
