I second the idea of getting yoru own 3M tape. Might come in handy later, so it's good to have your own roll anyway. I also would've gotten the in-channel. That's what I have and I got them strictly for that reason. Things on the outside of my vehicle, that are held on by tape, scare me. I want a rear window visor but, again, held on by tape. Nothing is stopping a mofo from running up and snaggin that ish off my car.

There is no touchless wash in kitchen. :jae:

I have had the 3m tape on my ebay visors since 3-4 years now. I've sprayed the **** out of them with pressure washer at coinops and they;ve been fine. I've gone through touchless, and rail/cloth washes with no issues.

Just put some effort in the prep and you'll be ok. Clean the upper part of the door properly and use some alcohol to make sure its all oil free. Heat up the 3m tape on the visors a bit with a heat gun and stick it on. Once on keep pressing and working the area where the tape is for 2-3 minutes for each one.
