im not really a fan of the 18's either, but the 18's you just showed look better than the 16's you showed, so if those are your only two options, 18's ftw

Its not between those 2 only. Any rims but i wanted to keep it around 16s cause our cars our known for tranny problems.

All opinions welcome. post up pictures of rims also if u want.

be like it is
i would rather have 16s...

lighter
wont bend
lighter
closer to stock diameter
less rotational inertia
can slam
tires are cheaper
im weird

Not a fan of 18's? :slap:

And .. WTFREAK does the size of the wheel/tire have to do ANYTHING with a tranny? :slap:

the size of the wheels is bigger than the factory. More weight, bigger diameter so the tranny has to struggle more to move the wheel, the lower the profile of the tire the more bumps u feel on the road because there is no air for the tire to move.

I would say 18s, they fill the wheel well better.

I was in the a similar position to yours, so I went with 17s. Not really a common choice with 6th gens I guess, as I see more people with 18s, but it fit my budget and I got two tires free so it's all good.

Well, I have 19s and Eibach springs and Tokico shocks. My cars ride is just as soft as stock except it handles better. The thing to consider though is that my shocks may have been the original ones that came with the car so my ride may have sucked and I just was used to it. The downside of nice, pretty, shiny, big wheels is potholes. If you live in a pothole free zone get the big rims. You'll love lookin back at your car as you walk away every time.

Going in between and have 17s never crossed your mind? :eh:

Rotas are great if you eventually track or autox...but them in that color look bad on Accords...imo.
