2/200 amp I would use to power your front door speakers. 1000watt doesn't mean it will produce 1000watt, find out the RMS on the amp and start from there.

Ditch the Sony speakers and get something better.

Do you mean 200 watts rms per channel? If that's at 4ohms that could be okay because I believe those subs are 380rms@4. In that case you could definitely use more power.

So you guys think i should just sell the whole thing and buy something new? The head unit looks pretty good. And the Amp is definitely a no go? well it says its 2x200, and in the back it says 1000 Max RMS probably just wire the door speakers there? i want some mtx's but i got all of this for free

Hmm. I would keep the subs and the head unit but get a different amp. And find out more about the sonys.

If its 200/2 that means it is 2 channel with 200 watt. Perfect for good aftermarket 6.5 speakers.

Ditch the subs, keep the head unit and amp. Just get a better amp, a monoblock class D amp, would recommend somewhere between 500-1000 watt RMS.

Here is what I would do if I were in your shoes.

Some good 6.5 components, wire the 200/2 amp with the front door speakers.
Get a fosgate, alpine, hifonics, JL audio amp. Somewhere between 400-1200 amp RMS depending on how much boom you want.
Kicker L5 or L7, Infinity, Alpine Type R or X, JL 10W7 12w7 or 13w7.

Having good audio equipment isnt cheap ill tell you that now.

So far all together I've spent close to $1200 on my complete setup.
