no way man, the STI is solid, the damn engine is modled of porsche engines and thier 6speed trannies are amazing, my uncle owns an 05 model and he has yeat to complain about it, but then again to his, his own, if u like the evo over the sti, who am i to say that u cant

pretty much =D everyone has their own flavor.

well, both STI's and EVO's are sell outs this gen, the EVO is only auto, and the STI is a station wagon

Auto only? The local dealer close by to our office has already taken deposits for their allotment of Evo's, and they're saying it comes in either 6-speed paddle shift or a standard 5-speed. It's not due until spring next year though, so it remains to be seen.

I like the previous gen EVO. Here in San Jose, tons of EVOs, STI's on the road. Although I would like to see more EVO wagons or wagon options in general ie. Acura TSX/Accord Euro wagon - sweet!

Well, from what I heard at least, at launch, they wont be offering a manual, but its still a possibility in the future, maybe that has changed, but who knows
