Illegal to drive without a hood??

thats my mindset. Most cops wont give you a problem. I understand it probably is different in other states, especially California. Your state is a lot different than here in NY lol. And so are the cops. Here, if you have a good enough explanation, they'll let you off easy. At least from what I have experienced in Suffolk and Nassau counties here on Long Island. I've had friends pulled over for no seat belts, driving without a license, driving with a learners permit, speeding doing 40 in a 15, and no tickets. I'm just going off of my region.

I've wondered this as well, even for here, but I know there have been people who have gone to events without their hoods and I have yet to hear that tickets have been issued for it.

Doesn't mean it's not illegal though.

So, I searched for some local info, and it seems like it's fine here in Ontario. I think it's more of an issue for the owner, whether he wants to drive without a hood, depending on the weather and potential road debris.

Can't do it in New Orleans , La. One of my friends did it a couple of years ago and the cop made him leave his car on the side of the street because it was "unsafe"
