The world doesn't revolve around you or your quest for more "powah".
Intakes alone don't give you much HP increase so it's understandable that some people might add an intake just for the sound alone. In my case, it's not but someone else above my post was comparing sounds and it may very well be worth the money they're spending for. Again, since the power increases are minimal except at the high RPM range, you can't really blame the guy.
And as for the cleanliness of a "black" intake, I won't even go there.
