I currently have my cold air intake down into my fender and into my bumper and one day after doing some ****ties in the rain, I went home and for about 15 mins and about to go rip some more... When I started it it started good then just stalled out so I thought wow that was weird I hope I didn't break something, I did it again and I did this like 3 times and it did the same... The fifth time I started it and started revving it to almost the rev limiter and then it idled fine, now I don't want any crap because I know that wasn't good for the car but at the time I didn't know what was going on then while driving around town later I figured it out. I am currently wanting to know whether I should leave it in the bumper or but it under my hood? I have a V6

The best way to tell is test compression.

Do it while it is known good, write it, save it.

Do it again if you have a problem, then compare.

Do what you want, mine is 'in the fender', I'm careful about where I go.
