well its techincally a metal pipe connected with 2 rubber pieces at each end. that metal pipe is welded on to another little metal pipe that is still connected.

should i just get another tube to replace that so i can take it out?

you could buy another piece of tubing, like the one you have going from the intake to the motor, and loop that bottom part from where that one tube comes from and the other end goes to. just use some clamps tho so it doesnt just come off cuz its a coolant line.

i just did this on my i4 a couple days ago. im pretty sure its the same way on the v6's.

Mine is still just hanging there. You don't need to do anything with it, it's not a coolant line. You probably already know this, but for sketch, that piece was the crank case breather line until he replaced it with the tubing that came with the intake.
