Intake

Yo guys what up?? Well anywayz ive done the whole search thing on this issue and i didnt find what i was looking for, but anywayz guys im wondering why I'm having like a whistiling noise when i accelerate in my car. Like everytime i accelerate my intake whistles or something. Does anyone else have this problem and what can i do to get rid of this noise. Im thinking that If i get a AEM V2 intake maybe the noise will go away or does this happen to most of you guys. Guys please someone respond to me and help me out.

what kind of setup do you have right now? all stock

everyone i know with an aftermarket intake has the same problem, i think its just due to the cone filter and the way the air enters it.

i've noticed tho that the whistle usually comes when i press the gas slightly, so giving it just a little more gas makes the whistle go away in my case. but yea your problem is normal, only thing you can do is get used to it :-/

my stock box's whistle is louder than when i had an sri, btw its funny to listen to it whistle when the cruise control is on lol

dont worrie man thats just your turbo spooling up. yea my dads stock i4 had the same thing so when ever someone would ask thats what id tell them
