If it's in truly excellent condition, I think it would be in the $500-800 range. I wouldn't be surprised if the seller asked more, especially if its mint.

On the carpet though...I have had cars with some pretty ratty looking carpet. If the owner had floor mats, and no physical damage to the carpet, it can be cleaned looking brand new. The cheapest and best way I have found is to use a spray bottle with 3/4 water, 1/4 laundry detergent.

It's not labor intensive for more than an hour but can take a few hours.
-Vacuum
-Spray carpet with water and watch the dirt come out (it will for awhile). Keep spraying until you don't see large amounts of dirty water
-Spray carpet cleaner or my laundry detergent solution on and scrub with a nylon brush.
-Spray with water again until you get the majority of the carpet cleaner out. If you are still seeing dirty water, scrub again.
-Hang it for a few hours on a fence or similar so that the water doesn't pool up
-Let dry (can take up to a few days but no biggie if you do this before you rip your own interior out.

Just saying, I have seen the craziest stains come out of the dirtiest carpet and end up looking so close to brand new its crazy. My friends started having me do theirs on project cars because they were so impressed.

^Sweet, thanks for the info. Glad you mentioned getting the floor carpet first and cleaning it before removing the interior. I need my car almost every day, so it needs to be drivable at at all times basically.

Chris, hit me up if you want some more info on replacing the interior carpet

If I end up doing this, I certainly will. :)

So I've asked the guy for photos twice, and he said he would take some. But he never did. I kind of hesitate to buy from people like that, the transaction could get messy. But I do wonder what kind of deal I'd get on it. I might message him again, he'll probably still have it if he's this bad at communicating with potential buyers.
