I finally managed to get myself a 2nd hand US-built MT instrument cluster ^_^
Mileage is 140,000 - dropped it into my CG4 and yay! Tacho, speedos, fuel gauge and temperature gauge needles reacted almost at lightning speed
There's a few issues/question tho:
Does a red hazard light natively exist in the left segment of the light displays? I turned on my hazard lights, and only the green blinkers were flashing (my UK cluster would have a red hazard flashing with them).
Is there a way to switch off the orange Maintenance Req'd light in the tachometer area?
A very petty thing, but the UK handbrake (or e-brake) light has a handbrake icon like (( ! )) - but the US cluster simply has the word "BRAKE". Are the light overlays swappable?
Basically, I'm looking to try and UK-ify this cluster
