Yeah, I was this close to going there..... but I stopped myself before I started talking anything more about salaries/wages. Cuz no one wants to hear the "my d*ck is bigger than yours" bullsh*t. LOL....... but I almost went there.

so when did a CPA become god? :coffee:

Who cares how much money you make. It's the fact if your smart enough to do all your own mod's or service.

Yea a friend of mine got one he put 10,000 down and pays like 250 a month for like 2 or 3 more years not sure though.. the only reason i would want a Evo 6 8 or 9 over a srt 4 is because All Wheel Drive.. so much traction.
Well, the reason I went with an SRT-4 over an EVO or STI is because of the insurance cost. The EVO and STI insurance rates are insane in Miami, FL. Many people overlook that one fact when buying a new or another car.

that and you won't have to manually roll down the rear windows
Are electrical rear windows that important? I got used to it, just pretend it was a coupe with no back windows...LoL. Whatever, say all you want about rear windows...turbo FTW!

With a audi or any german car your just begging for electrical troubles. They are good cars but an EVO or srt-4 have cheaper replacement parts.

But all that's trash compared to the 2009 STI. I should just take $35k in chump change and buy it cash.........
Honestly, I love the Evo, but for some reason or another I always think I'd buy an STI first before an Evo. Not sure why, probably because I see more Subarus in Rally America than Evos. Travis Pastrana and Ken Block rock STIs, good enough for me...LoL.

This thread is getting WAAAY OT, I foresee a future where I will be in before the lock.

+1 to that. I like evo's too but i think STI's are pretty damn cool. That will be my next car someday. And of course I'll keep my honda. :naughty:

...Cuz yeah, we all talk so much sh!t about how much money we make and what sick nasty cars we're gonna own soon. And that we wanna mod cars that we'll be getting rid of shortly. And that we don't even know WHAT we want to do to our cars. We all have no idea whether we wanna go for looks or performance.

Just saying.... I don't think people here BS around like that at all. About money or what cars we "plan" on getting soon. It's just irrelevant for the most part, ya know?

You're new here, maybe you didn't know better.......

To throw my $0.02 in.......I think it depends on the car, the trend seems to be to keep the looks simple, and go heavy on the performance aspect of things.

I can't think of specific Member's cars right now, but there are a few that look stock until you pop the hood. Really depends on what you are interested in/what you can afford.

For me, if I could do both, then for sure I would go for looks/engine. I think looks is the cheaper route, but that doesn't mean some minor engine stuff can't get done as well.
