Irritating noise coming from behind passenger side of dashboard.

There is this really irritating noise coming from the passenger side of the dashboard. It only happens when you turn the climate control knob to warm. If you turn it to cold, the noise goes away. I read somewhere that it might be a bad vacuum tube back there but I have no idea what to look for.

Anyone else have this noise? How do I fix it?

I need to know what the sound is (whoosh? pssssssst? Grind? a video of this may work), and if you have manual or auto controls.

That problem just started with me this year too, well...these cars are approaching the 20th year mark so these things are common
