I was running a red top. It was hands down the best battery I have ever had. It reduced light dimming, started the car in any situation (lights left on, radio on, laptop running, playstation on for a long time) and looked good at the same time.

I've had a Yellow Top is every car I have owned. I've had a Yellow Top for over 3 years in the Accord. Awesome battery. Hasn't died once. Love the fact is has an hour reserve if it ever does. Completely removed the need for a cap with my system (2 12's, 800:1 mono PG amp).

I'm looking up Optima batteries at their site and it says that there are no matches for our vehicles when I use their battery search....

red top is not a deep cycle, and the yellow top is.

if you're going to use it with a large stereo system, the yellow top is the one you want.

if you just look at the physical dimension of the battery you can find one that should fit without and major modifications.

if you pull out the resonator and stock intake and do a little modifying, i'm pretty sure you can fit a HUGE battery in there (4cyl engine bay, not sure about v6).
