I just found a place in Van Nuys RB Performance that will install an aftermarket CAT that is CARB approved for $230. Hmm..not too bad

Hope that's it for you for a while man. Though I must say, you got your tranny rebuilt/installed for a good price. That could have been worse.

Be careful using the aftermarket cat. although they are new the honeycomb thing inside is not designed as well as hondas. The code will come back on after a while because the material does not work as well. I went through 3 aftermarket cats before I just decided to put up the money to get an oem. call around to some junkyards and see if you can find one. trust me, its worth the money

yeah the guy only charged me $500 for labor to rebuild the tranny. I got upgraded clutch packs and torque converter.

I will look around for used cat at junk yard too.

$507 to replace the starter? damn. can you say rape? that ****s like 2 bolts and removing a battery haha.

yeah you can say rape again. I was on my 2 weeks vacation and did not have my local contacts so just bit the bullet and went to the dealer. I could have gotten a rebuilt starter replaced for $140 all day long.
