Thanks for the input RedRyder,
I was indeed looking for a relatively easy swap, but after the guy said he would sell the whole setup for 400 bucks I began to think bigger. The setup was described as having a newly installed engine(60,000), but the tranny was experiencing problems prior to the accident that ended the tl's life..
I guess you are right with the options provided. If I swap in the 5speed I would need to get the tranny rebuilt though.. but I guess after that I would basically only need the tl/cl ecu.. Would I specifically need a Type-S ecu? I still need to do more research on the 5speed swap, but ideally I would love the 6speed.. does anyone have an opinion of the difficulty level of the 5speed swap vs the 6speed swap? Also, I would never swap to the tl body haha. I prefer 2doors and personally I think the 6thgen Accord coupe is the nicest looking Accord ever haha
The 8th and 9th gen coupes are pretty sexy too tho lol
