So I picked up an Arcan Tool 3 1/2 ton jack from Northern Tool recently. While attemping to jack a boat trailer with boat loaded (about 4,000lbs)to change trailer tires, the base of the jack handle bent about 3" from the base where there is less reinforcement. I took the handle back and it was replaced with a new one without any problems. The jack itself has worked great so far using it on my accord numerous times with no troubles. It really isn't necessary in most cases, but like I said the boat is fairly heavy. I would like to however, find a way to make the handle solid and beefy, so that I don't have another bent handle again. I was thinking of using a polyurethane mix to fill the handle tube, if I can find a way to actually pull that off, and plug the bottom square recess that fits over the jack valve that releases the hydraulic fluid. The handle is 2-piece and about 2 feet in length for each section. I provided a few pics with some comparisions to my much smaller jack. Here is also a link to DIY motor mounts, which kind of gave me this whole idea. Any suggestions would be helpful.

What are the odds of actually finding a pipe the exact same diameter as this, and even then it wouldn't fit snugly into the base of the recieving end because there won't be a recessed squared hole to shut the hydralic valve.
As of right now, my brother is trying to get a refund or exchange because I noticed not all four caster wheels touch the ground on a level surface. The front axle tube it cocked up and the front left wheel doesn't even roll when you move it around...(manufacturing defect).
