can people mod the skyline: yes

do 99% of drivers need to mod the skyline: no

i would put down a large percentage of my retirement money that even if you were to mod it, the gains would be negligible to street driving. The Nuremberg Ring is not a road course, it is a high speed test ring. You don't need 600hp on the road, its not practical for any application. Out of the box it can and will decimate 95% of super-cars on the road if driven properly

dude this isnt a crx or civic. this is a SUPERCAR. on the level of lambos an ferarris. you or anyone else that isnt an engineer for that car company wont be able to mod this car to go faster. this isnt something you can just slap coilovers on or install a boost controller and make faster. the level of tehcnology of these kinda cars are far advanced for weekend racers working with a socket wrench in their garage.. so leave it the way the nissan engineers designed it, cause if you do mess with it I GUARANTEDD youre gonna fukc it up.

I just personally feel that as some one who loves modding cars it sort of a let down to see the next generation be something that is very difficult to mod. And the only reason I bring it up is because I'm going in school to be a mechanical engineer and specifically to work on designing performance parts for cars. Being a car guy I think that being able to mod a car is the best part because no matter what kind of car I have I want it to be different or better then the other ones out there. I really enjoy watching people mod lambos to push the limit of super cars. I feel the new skyline should be no different, If you were to get one would you just want to leave it stock it would be kinda boring, yes it is an awesome car but there is no such thing as a perfect car from factory just my personal opinion its nice to hear some other guys thoughts on it.
