I've gotten this car last month (july 2). I haven't done anything but fix the few dings and issues that came along with the car when i initially got it.

My plans for the car. From the day i got her
  • MTF (Done)
  • Oil change (Done)
  • Coolant (Done)
  • upper control arm (Done)
  • lower ball joint (Done)
  • exterior silver door trim (longest piece) (last owner forced his way to unlock the door and heavily damaging the silver trim and the rubber to a point where water would leak in when it rains!) (Done)
  • Inner rubber door thingy (Done)
  • A/C (Done)
  • Tint (23% charcoal at Audio Heaven) (Done)
  • Rims black (Done)
  • AEM CAI (Done) <- (Updated above 8/13/2012)
  • Clean the engine bay (I should have taken a before picture. It was greasy and stuff everywhere) (Done)
  • Get rid of the noise when i'm in the hwy/freeway (Done)
  • Fix the problem where there's a "clunk" noise whenever i go through a pot hole/bump (it's not the lower ball joint cuz it happens when the wheels are straight) (Done)
  • Maybe remove the rest of the rain guard (Done)
  • Clock Backlight (took me 3 months to finally get this out of the way) (Done) <- (Updated above 10/22/2012)
  • Viper 5901 (Done) 11/27/12
  • Get new tail lights (The chrome reflector is deteriorating)
  • Remove amber on the tail light
  • Non dented exhaust manifold cover (see pic of current below)
  • Change the rusted bolts overtime.
  • Interior LED conversion (Done) 10/23/2012
  • New paint job
  • Coilovers (AMRs) 11/02/12
  • MB Battles (thinking of 17s. I believe 18s is where you have to chamber it well right?)
  • 5 lug swap (Have them, not installed) 11/02/12
  • Retros
  • Get Leather Interior (Done) 06/10/13
  • H22 or G23 Maybe in a couple years
  • Bigger rotors
  • New Head Unit with aux and ipod connection - KDC-BT555U (Done) 03/22/13
  • Coupe front end conversion
  • Coupe fog lights
  • OBX short throw shifter (Done) 11/12/12
  • Shorter Shifer (Done) 11/27/12

Well I'll be lurking this forum a lot. Like what someone said in here... I'm spending waaayyy too much time in 6GA to a point where it became a routine!

My overall plan is to make the car run quiet, smooth and problem free. (Done)
So guys, PLEASE help me out! (Done)
The modding begins... :p

Thanks. I will try water and soap first and if that doesn't cut it i'll go grab degreaser from work ^_^

I think I'll post a new thread in the right sub forum

Welcome to the forum! Yeah do soap and water first. If you use degreaser make sur you delute it so it doesn't take the paint off too. Gl

Welcome! For the headlights, buy the 3M headlight restoration kit. It's like $20 and works wonders on hazy headlights.

Good luck. I like that you're trying to clean everything up before starting to mod. It's a good route to go IMO
