sorry for my post, i was being a hypocrite. before i lowerd my car everyone would say that to me. i didnt have money for coils either. Look into lowering springs or coil sleeves. but make sure you get new struts
If you're going to lower it, might as well get coilovers so that you can adjust them down the road. By the time you buy new springs and struts, you pretty much just spent as much as F2's. I ended up doing the struts/springs instead of coils right away and I'm regretting it. Anyways, your car looks good so far and i would suggest lowering it next too.
Well I'm still a student and Im on my last year of engineering. I only made enough to get a car and some budget money. I decided to use that budget money to fix the car instead. I think it's more of a preference to get a reliable car first. Anyways, I don't have a job during the school year so the money I make during the summer (thank god) was enough for this car + insurance + gas + the budget I have for it.
I've already updated my list and you'll notice that I have something in there that'll make you happy
Nice work! Just one thing. I can see that you decided to black out the whole piece, but the final pic looks like the parking light section is left out chrome. ???
Anyways, nice to see the transformation / restoration progress! Keep up the good work!
Ahh yes, I was looking at the DIY for blackhousing and I believe the guy ended up covering the signal reflector. I gave it a good thought and decided to not blackout the reflector as well. So I taped it up, sprayed the monkey out of it, and took the tape out when the paint settled.
