Wow, night and day difference. I always wanted to paint my speaker covers gloss black. Then I just gutted her out. lol

Thanks! It seriously took my like no time at all, I was surprised. I'll probably want to end up gutting my car after the motor swap lol, but after all the interior work... Not going to happen. I'm super excited for this to become a reality. I've basically got all the parts and money. Just need to put all the pieces to the puzzle together.

It's a good feeling when it all starts coming together. My girlfriend told me it looked like my Accord blew up in the garage since the car is missing, but all the parts are there. lol

I'm pretty everyone room in my house has a part from my car in it right now haha. I can't wait to see yours put back together. Always makes me jealous to see a j series 6 speed.

I've got a full shed of parts lol. But glad to hear axle is out. For some reason, I put very little on my axle but and it came loose. Wierd

Wondering if anybody can help me here. I have aftermarket seat warmers in my car. They came with all the wiring, relays, etc and a switch. The switch works just like stock one we have. 2 different levels of heating. The switch on the aftermarket seat warmers has 2 wires coming of it. Those wires coming from the after market switch basically are used just to send a signal saying which setting it is on. Which two wires on the oem switches should I wire them to? I'm hoping people are following what I am saying. Perhaps I can get a picture of the aftermarket wiring harness if need be.

Also need opinions. I want to do full 2.5 inch exhaust (keep my cat) to dual 3 inch blast pipes. (Example: Isis blast pipes). No resonator? I know it will be pretty loud, but really how loud? And will it sound super ricey? Remember that I will have the h22 in it.

Here's a pic of the switch

Figured out that wires 1 and 6 (red and white/black) are hot, 2 and 3 (black and red/black) are ground, 4 and 5 (white/red and white/ blue) are the high and low settings. Should be pretty simple to wire. Hopefully.

Little update on the winter build.

Chances are it will not be painted.
For now I'll just painted the rest of the lip kit myself just so I can put it on.

I'm getting rid of my spare tire so I can but my battery there

I'm going to put hardwood floor in my trunk

I am keeping power steering and A/C but trying to get rid of ABS unit

I'm going to buy a new 01-02 coupe bumper to try and get rid of the poor fitment of my current one. If anyone has a link. Please feel free to send it my way

I'm going to paint my dash but I kind of want to wrap it in suede to give it a more expensive look and feel. I'm not super sure on that one yet.

I'm about to order black carpet for my car and possibly oem black floor mats. Pretty weird they make oem black sedan mats but did not offer black interior on sedans?

Going to have my valve cover powder coated white, possibly.

Some sort of after market header and wrap it in black heat tape

I'll probably get another intake at some point. Not sure what kind yet. Maybe a short ram.

as for my old f23a. It's a good and healthy low mile motor. I just got the h22 for free and it seems easier to address my wiring issue with the motor out of the car

Many probably know I have an accord wagon shell. Next winter I want to boost the f23 and put it in my wagon. I'll keep stock internals and the means I'll keep it like 5-7 psi. I'll want to use my black 98 manual tranny for the longer gears and then I can buy a short gear tranny for my h22 accord to really feel the power.
