damn...great job on the upper dash... what did u use to paint it? looks flawless! can't wait till u paint the rest of the beige part... y blue, and not black? tht'll look nicer IMO... all black except for the middle console where it's blue.. just my 2 cents :)

I used Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric Paint.(got a pic on my cardomain site). It was a rather simple job. The masking off took about 30-45 minutes and then it's just paint. I was kinda thinking of making the front black and carrying the navy blue down into the center console. I should probably try to photoshop it to see which will look better. And BTW I'd like to claim it to be flawless, but it did have a heavy spot or two towards the front by the windshield, but it's not too obvious. Alot of people didn't even notice it because they thought it had always just been like that. I guess thats a compliment.

Caution: Wet Paint

Alright, this makes my little dash project complete. I finished up with the front of the dash and decided to still stay with the navy blue color. It took a little longer then the top of the dash did but it was still fairly simple. Here's a few pictures of the job.

The blue doesn't look all that bad, but whassup with the shifter and the steering wheel? Is the shifter gonna stay the green color with the factory steering wheel or are you gonna spray it black/blue?

I need to ditch the seat covers, shifter handle, steering wheel cover, and probably the green flames on the guages. I'm gonna keep the whole front black and blue and the back's black and green. And yeah, I'll probably paint the steering wheel too, but it'll be black. I wonder if I could just find another steering wheel to replace it that's already black.

That was a thought. It would make taping everything off to paint it alot easier for sure. I'm probably going to ditch some of the light blue paint and just go with the navy blue and black. It'll look better that way I think. I'm just really indecisive. But I'd like to get a CF bezel, and get some CF vinyl to wrap the center console and glovebox with.

i think it looks great, but im not a fan of green and blue at all. i think those 2 colors together look pretty ify if you ask me. i like the dash a lot tho, i wish i had the balls/time to do the tope of mine black, and buy a black center console and lower dash pieces and then paint the door pieces, but like i said, no time, and i dont want to f*ck it up, or want it to chip, haha. it looks good tho.

Dont buy cf vinyl. Its cheap and it really looks it in the long run. Just go out and shell out the cash for the real cf dash kits. You will be amazed how well it comes out. I actually think the dash looks good. Now just go out and paint your car navy blue to match the inside. +1 for individuality.

Well, I'm going to paint the front navy blue but keep the rear of the car green with the rear interior being green too. Thanks for the comments.
