Hmm I don’t have a link, but I just did a quick hack job using the magnetic lasso tool this time. I usually am more meticulous and go around the car with the polygon lasso which is more precise, then I make the car its own layer. You need to cut out things like badges or headlights that you don’t want to change color. Then to adjust the color you can use the Hue/Saturation and Brightness/Contrast tools. If you want to take it further, you make sure the reflections etc on the car match the environment, etc.

There’s more to it than that, but that would get you started. You have a copy of PS? I’m sure there must be some tutorials on YouTube.

Lips are being shipped back to me tomorrow…so I should have them back in a few days.

I need to scrape the old silicon off the inner barrels, and clean them. And I have forty more wheel bolts to clean up.

Thanks Alex! I like the blue too, but that will probably never happen haha. Just about done messing around with this car, sort of want to start saving for my next one. I may still do little things here and there, but don't really want to put much more into it.

You’ve seen his car somewhere? I think last week the lip finally got ripped off on the freeway lol. Not sure if he’s replaced it yet.

The rims are just Varrstoens plasti-dipped white, but I agree they’d look better w/a polished lip. I found out when I met the guy that those motors rev to 10.5k…insane. But the rotary has to keep the high revs to keep the power up.

Vlad, I love ya, but you’re sucking all the air out of the room. I wouldn’t say I’m super low obviously, but I would definitely say I’m not 4x4 status. I always admit it would look better lower, but I don’t think a car has to be slammed to look sexy. Plus the car is so easy to live with right now and I’m happy with the one fingergap there is. I also like to keep it as functional as possible since I spent a good deal swapping the tranny/motor.

But I know slamming is your life, glad you like it otherwise.

For some reasons, I thought you were gonna keep the H emblem mounted on your trunk, but I like w/o it. (Wanting to debadge mine, too but I'm affraid that I might get those nasty sun tan marks...)

Thanks Richard. Naw the H was the one thing I wanted to get rid of, I do have a badge to put on but it’s not anything that came on the car from the factory. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet. You could always take the H off and see what’s under it?

New wheels will go on in the spring. But if I finish them earlier, which I will, I may put them on and take the car out for a quick shoot. I probably won’t be able to resist, haha.

Thanks. I loved the OEM wing for a long time, because before this car I always wanted a car with a cool factory spoiler lol. But eventually, especially after I added the roof spoiler, I just began to feel like it was too much, and the two spoilers didn’t echo each other. So I finally decided to simplify, but I do have a lip spoiler I plan to put on the trunk. I actually kept my old trunk with the wing, in case I ever decide I want it back.

GC’s may or may not happen at this point. I’m realizing that I don’t want the car to feel any harsher than it already does, sometimes I get annoyed with how bumpy and unsophisticated the ride is. But if I put the new wheels on and it’s just not doing it for me…then I may reconsider.

Thanks D-rock. It’s 65 here today, so I plan on washing it tonight, then putting on the lip spoiler. I think I finally want to see what it will look like to have it on.

Sweet......it's just subtle enough to pair well with the roof spoiler, so hope it's a look you can get used to.

It really is a give and take thing with not having a spoiler. I dislike the naked look but with a lip kit and that rear window visor, it fits.

Been doing so much lately(life wise) still have the accord. Done some decent mods to it since my last update, but I don't log in as much as before. Currently collecting parts for the swap...
