Keyless entry not working

Might try just opening the key fob and looking for broken or cracked solder.. my remote used to give me problems too (only working when it wanted to) so I looked inside and found the connection of the prongs that hold my battery had cracked the solder and wasnt always making a connection, so my dad showed me how to solder and I fixed it

if you are not sure what to look for maybe post a pic of it and someone might be able to find the issue?

I'll have to haev an even closer look - i didnt read that you said to look for a 'square'

I'm having a similar issue with this too and I can't seem to pinpoint in on my 01 TL... any luck yet?

Would you guys mind taking a pic when you guys check it out? I couldnt find it either when i looked.
