you're not supposed to leave that part on there with GC. taking it off wont drop the car another inch tho. you probably just need to wait for the springs to settle

All Koni yellows come with a lower spring perch, for use with lowering springs. You set the snap ring on one of the two heights and that lower perch sits on the ring.

But I think knox is right, you don't use that with GC's. If you bought the sleeves used, I'd call GC and ask for installation instructions with yellows. Or I'm sure they're online somewhere.

You did buy the correct set of GC's right?

When buying ground controls you usually have to tell them your going to pair them with Koni yellows, ground controls usually will need more parts to work with the Koni yellows rather than just the ground control sleeve last time I checked.

Heres how they are supposed to look when installed with all of the correct components.
You can sort of see what the difference is.

Those pics aren't 6gen specific but you get the idea. They dont have the lower springs perch like yours do 4door. To go any lower you would either have to buy H&R race springs(something with a 2.5'' drop or lower)or get GC specs for koni struts. Correct me if i'm wrong guys.

Funny thing is that when I bought the gc coilovers I mentioned they were going on konis and that the correct part number was 4515.02...

It just doesn't seem low enough in the front ...

I'm thinking maybe that snap ring comes off!!
