Lol.

When you know your transmission is going bad, never ever!!! Flush the transmission, the old fluid might sometimes be holding the parts together.

There have been people who flushed their transmission completely and lost 2ed and 3rd gear.

Jetlife misinformed you.

Just drive easy and don't put too much stress on the transmission, but be prepared for the tranny going out in 1-2 years. Why? Because my car does the same exact thing.

Best thing you can do is add more HONDA transmission fluid if you notice that it is low.

You shouldnt be flushing the tranny fluid even if the tranny is brand spanking new. Only drain and refill it. (drain old fluid into a measured container and add the same amount of fluid, switch from P-R-N-D-3-2-1 and back to park and check and add as necessary * make sure you're on level ground)

Go and get you car scanned for possible codes for the 2nd and 3rd clutch pressure switches. The codes WILL NOT illuminate the CEL light. Check the two solenoids for valve a/b to make sure the plugs are in-tact and still plugged in.

Drive it easy and dont go WOT

If the fluid is low, DONT just add new fluid and let it be...find out where its leaking from.

You have an auto it takes time for the transmission to downshift. If you want a quicker response, downshift with the gear shifter it will downshift quicker than the computer and the acceleration should come on quite quickly.

Really? What if it wasnt topped off from the start? I remember a year ago it seemed as if my transmission was never topped off and I had some Honda ATF and topped it off just because i didn't want to be running on low fluid. I added maybe less than 1/2 cup.

If you mean transmission leaking then I understand, but what if there is still enough open space to top off the fluid, it should be fine then correct?

If the last shop that serviced your tranny didnt fill it up thats a different story.

What im saying is that if you notice your tranny fluid is low after awhile(and you knew it was full before), topping it up is just putting a bandaid. You should try and find out where its leaking from so you're not topping up everytime.

On top of that you should only have enough fluid in there to be at the TOP mark on the dipstick, no more.
