I'm just not a fan of aftermarket leather. That looks like a good job and all but I can still tell that it's not OEM leather. Maybe there's no way of getting that OEM look. Maybe my expectations are too high. :\

Thank You. Seats are hard to recover. I think the panels in our cars are just as hard to keep and get in great condition.

I think the only reason it looks aftermarket is because of the wrinkles you can see in the sides of the headrest and seat. Honda has a way of installing the covers so they're stretched and finished. A guy installing them in his garage doesn't, I've never seen a person install leather covers flawlessly. You just do the best you can, unless you want to pay for a professional install. The panels and what not look the same to me.

I don't mine the wrinkles really, makes the leather look more plush. The door inserts came from Honda with wrinkles in them.

Is there a way to make a leather EX seat with manual controls like on LX?

Take the seat apart and mount it to your lx seat frame. It's easy. I put coupe leather power seats in my 98 lx and used my manual rails so they are just manual seats now.

OP, seats look great!
