leaving a note for someone

so i was in the walmart parking lot the other day and i was walking past this accord that was parked and i noticed they had some projector head lights and they didnt look like the egay projectors..... i was highly contemplating leaving my number and asking how much he wanted for them...... is that weird? or has anybody else thought about doing it?

no harm in it i suppose, but chances are you won't get a reply, lol. it would be kinda sketchy if I got a note asking me how much for a part on my car. lol.

did that once with a local honda forum... in this case I wanted his VOLKs... there were rolling in a piece of junk... never got news from him...

No harm in it. I've thought about doing it a couple of times for some older cars that I found and really wanted. My friend had a prelude and he only got it cause he saw it parked on the street and left a note saying he'll buy and the dude actually responded. I guess just try to make it sound as legit as possible. Then again,you could have just left a note asking what lights those were.

I would be paranoid if I got something like that on my car that someone was trying to find out if a part was worth stealing. lol

I see decent looking cars around town that I want to leave a 6GA flyer on in hopes they'll join the site, but I haven't left any yet.
