Cleaner Redder light..

And you should already know that if you get replacement bulbs, All lamp colors must match housing colors if they aren't clear.

EDIT NOTE:

I have found the brake failure sensor on sedans. it is located DIRECTLY ON THE LEFT TAILLAMP.

Just had my brake lamp light come on after I installed my rear LED brake lights.
I am going to try this out in the next couple of days to see if it helps.

Now on to searching for the hyper blinking on the turn signal LEDs.

White/black may make your brake lights not work, except the 3rd.

White/green may work to kill the warning light.

Or is this the wrong diagram.

I know this thread is a little old but I figure I'd help since I needed it recently. OP states that, on his coupe, the black box was opposite the tail light. I found mine directly beneath the tail light.

Here's a few pics...

Don't get me started on de-pinning that thing. Total PITA. Careful with the locks/tabs on the plugs, too.

Thank you for this post! I was finally able to get rid of the *only* warning light in my CG!

I have an '01 sedan, and the black box is kind of *in* the driver's side tail light assembly. I wish I took pictures, but the best way I can describe it is there is some insulating foam around the connectors for the tail light and turn signal bulbs, and the bulb out connector is right under the tail light connector.

It was a bit of a pain, but the end result is totally worth it!
