led conversion

i got the led's and ill do a review in a bit but my needles are not lighting up... any advice on whats happening?

your needles arnt lighting up because of the orange film on them. the blue lighting isnt going through that film

how can i remove the film? rubbing alcohol is what the ledautomotive recommended.

did you search because I believe there is a thread on this already i did mine and got the info from there but yes rubbing alcohol will take the orange off and make them blue...also be careful with the needles

you gotta search man.... blue leds do NOT shine through the orange needles nor do they light up the rear defroster button AND the red area of the temperature knob on manual climate control units. not only has this been mentioned so many times theres plenty of pics of this on the board too. imaricer has a point, you could have mentioned all this LED stuff in one thread or searched beforehand...
