Thanks man! The recent money sent is with Justin and he is going to give it to me and I will put it towards the build. Also I'll have to add your name to the list.

Well this has been a roller coaster of emotions for me. It has been reaffirmed again to me how tragedy can bring such blessings. Most everything that has been bought was made possible by the members of this site. I don't even know how to begin to show my gratitude, say thank you, and comprehend what just happened to me.

I know a lot of people say "hey, it's just a car.." well yes and no. It is a car, but it is the car that I've had for 7+ years, lost for awhile, destroyed in active addiction, rebuilt in recovery, and had about 1400 left before I payed her off. This car brought me more faith in some kind of Higher Power than I ever had before, funny isn't it. This car brought me to a place where I saw how generous and selfless people can truly be. It wasn't so much the car, it was how everyone helped me get through a dark time in my life with my career and relationships. I had almost lost all faith in some type of higher power and when this happened at first I was destroyed, however I quickly saw how there was something bigger than what I could have ever imagined happening here.

For most of us, our car's are an extension of who we are. For me it's something more. I will forever be reminded of how my cars restoration was all due to 6thgenaccord.com and its members. I now have more faith and I've learned a valuable lesson, among many, that before the hail storm and tornado's I put most all my time and effort obsessing how I can keep my car from falling apart and I never really enjoyed my car for what it's worth. Now, I have been able to enjoy my car even more since the exterior being totaled as well as stopped obsessing over it so much.

Ever since I saw this thread formed I've had to fight back the tears. So thank you again. I truly believe that this needed to happen in order for me to have a shift in my attitude and my beliefs. For the people who started this thanks a lot. I won't go out and try and seek you out because of your right to anonymity (Justin and Chris) but I don't know the others, just know that I am truly grateful. And of course I'll keep updating my Rebuild Thread so everyone can see where there money has went.

If you think this is just another car forum, your wrong. It's a family.

-Matt

I will be getting a big decal that will recognize this site and its members for building my car, for my car.
