Please no more comments about the TAC drama. If I see anymore I will either delete/edit them and if it continues infractions will be given out. This thread is not about who said what on TAC, it is about donating for Matt's car. If you guys are annoyed about the TAC situation keep it to pms. Thanks

Awesome news about the sponsor. Keep us updated!

Thanks Eric, I second that.

I have made efforts to try and clarify things on TAC, so hopefully that will help as well.

It's about Matt and his situation at the end of the day, and I don't want to take away from that either.

I am grateful my car was totalled, because I never would have been able to experience the spiritual awakening I have had through the giving spirit of others. I am blessed.

You got it buddy. When we go through recovery counselors, speakers, etc always tell us that if we continue to do the right thing things will get better for us, and I can't stand it when I see someone who does the best they can to help themselves and other people, have **** like this happen to them.

I'm glad that we are able to help you, all that I ask is that in one way or another you pass it on to someone else in the future.

I'm not even going to look at the TAC thread...........

Will do, paying it forward is not just a cliche.

I've been trying to put together a list of parts in my "tornado rebuild tread ".

I am still in shock about people on this site helping one another like this. Amazing. I'm just waiting to find out how expensive it's going to cost to buy my car out of the salvage yard, at the moment.

Justin, with all due respect, i thought the TAC thread issue was already dropped, resolved and finished with.

Matt, not sure how things would work as i've never had to deal with such thing, but would you have to buy it back at the yards set price? or can you somewhat bargain with them?

Hopefully the said salvage yard will cut me some slack, however if they won't then I'll just fork over the money (borrow it) and buy it back at their price. Just thinking about having to buy back my car due to a natural disaster, which I had no power over, is kind of disturbing. But, I believe that everything happens for a reason and I've learned a lot about myself and about the people I am in fairly regular contact with.

In regards to the TAC thing, I was never offended by their comments (I read them). I would be also be apprehensive if I were in their positions. No harm done, we are all in the same family (Honda) so lets all just get along:)

Mr. Miller,

I wouldn't have thought you would participate in such shenanigans.......

Matt, does it matter that you previously owned the car if it's at the salvage yard? I am wondering if that works in your favour or not?

Once you do get it, hopefully there are some people that aren't too far from you that can help with swapping the new parts on and the 'paint' work.

I don't know if it does or not. I'd like to hope it would, but there's no telling. I just found out that the storm(s) we had were some of the worst ever TN has seen. I'd like for someone to help me but I'm also prepared to do it on my own if no one wants to help.

Ive been on this site a long time and its one of the first sites ive ever been on and everyone here always treats me well. I haven't been on faithfully as I used to but Im more than willing to donate towards this cause and hopefully all works. I can't donate until next Friday but im definitely putting down a good amount.

Prayerfully everything will work out for you!
