Limp mode?

How do I know if my car is in limp mode? Check engine light is currently on for o2 sensor. Not sure if that would cause limp mode or not?

It won't, cause that, you wont be able to go past 3k if you are

Okay, I'm just experiencing poor fuel mileage and fuel cut at about 5,600 rpms

doubt this is the issue but if your car is topping out at a high rpm like that you might want to check the cat (the one under the car not the one climbing on your car) mine would start missing and just not go any faster plus my 0-60 times were pretty slow like 15ish seconds. turned out the cat was getting clogged up.
