Step One: Take a socket you don't like anymore that ALMOST Fits.... Is a bit too small.
Step Two: Make the socket fit... Take a Big hammer and bash the socket onto the lock
Step Three: Insert Impact gun and remove lock
Step Four: Grind the edges of the lock and then bash the socket off.

If the Socket is still in one piece reuse.. If not... Find another one you don't like.

There is a reason why I have sooo many 18mm impact sockets laying around at work. Generally they charge 1 hour labour rate to remove the lugs. I always charge 50$, because I generally ruin at least 30$ of tools removing them in the process lol.

The snap-on extractors are also good, but you destroy them... thankfully they are have a free replacement.

I managed to get them off yesterday at my friend's shop.

He used this tool I've never seen before that bit into the lock and then started vibrating. Somehow it works and it ends up cracking the lock into pieces so it was pretty loud and fun to watch.

He also gave me a proper scolding not to lose my new key :chucklesfawk:
