Hey all. I had at one point a 98 accord with a lot of hard work poured into it and frequented the board the quite a bit. Before I sold the car. Back in 2003-2005 when comptech was working on the supercharger that never came out, etc, so I'm no stranger to the forums or the history of our car.

Long story short, in those days, I subscribed to Super Street, Import Tuner, and Car Audio (pretty sure this is the wrong name). There was a member along with a few other 98-02 accords that were published, I lost the magazines, does anyone know the issues or have digital pictures.

From memory, I believe one of the Members name was Maurice, and he started the site, it even had a different domain, I cant recall. One other that I remember was in import tuner, it was custom blue, with a mercedes-benz headlight conversion, perhaps tailight conversion also, roll-bar, suede interior, and much more, it was more of a show car.

From what I recall most of the ROTM cars while all very clean (my taste)- were daily drivers. I also liked these particular cars, while over the top for some, still a lot of effort.

Any tips, Ive tried searching on the forums and internet, to no avail.

Thought it was worth a shot asking.

Thanks.

Maurice is/was affiliated with v6performance IIRC, and I probably have pics of those show cars you're referring to if you really want them. The blue accord was Lewis Clark's, with a Lexus SC430 headlight conversion, Ferrari 360 front bumper, and the rest of the stuff you've mentioned. There are many others from that era, some that most people wouldn't like anymore but that I still can appreciate.

I believe this is the blue accord you were referring to, correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know which other OG accords you want to see, but I'm not going to post 100 pics randomly.

Personally, I wish I could find Erica Lam's old accord & give it a 2012 update in a few areas.

Those two Acords are NOT attractive, but I can appreciate what they were trying to do at the time.

Its honestly just god awful looking, the M3 grills on the fenders...

It just goes to show that its not the brand that makes the car look good.
its the body lines and the engineers and designers behind it.
