Hey guys, I am new here and have to say its great to find an online community for those of us with the 6th gen accord. Not to mention i havent seen a lot of the bad attitudes and ganging up on here that i have seen on other forums. BUT, on to the business. Has anyone on here heard or had the Megan Racing catback for our cars? I should specify the 2.3 vtec but exhaust is the first thing I am wanting to do. I am not looking for tremendous power gains but want a nice sound for a decent price. Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks guys.

What's your budget? May be some better systems in your price range you're not aware of.

i had the megan racing universal muffler on my old 6g......it wasnt too bad, im sure their catback probably has a resonator in it (mine didnt since i had custom piping) and would probably sound a little better than mine did.

I also searched and didnt find anything specific on the Megan, a few people that have it all say they like it a few of the cons were big tip, crappy silencer, etc but nothing that makes me question the build quality. my main thing is, shipping to Alaska is rediculous. For example, i start to checkout with a magnaflow catback in my cart on directtuning.com and its like 450 bucks, then go to the Alaska shipping option and it jumps to $702! crazy! that was why i was really considering the Megan, since its full stainless, 3pc, etc. thanks for all the help so far!

You could always buy just your muffler/resonator, most likely shipping will be cheaper. Then have a shop near you do custom piping along with the items you bought...Custom exhaust is a lot cheaper than most people think.

the Megan N1 catback is a good starter exhaust. nothing wrong with it.
personally, I'd go with a custom cat-back. it costs about 300-600 depending on what you put on it. you get to select the pipe size, mandrel bends, muffler, and resonator. well worth the money to me.
